We realise we should have given you more information upon registration about what to expect during the booking process and we apologise for the oversight.
To make sure we communicate more effectively with our parents during this process, as of next term we will:
- send a confirmation of registration along with the teams next steps
- update everyone via social media on a weekly basis with our progress
We hope this goes some way to staying in touch with you more frequently while you wait.
Since our Expressions of Interest for Term 4 opened on 18th September, we have received nearly 800 enquiries. This is in addition to the children who are continuing their lessons from last term, who always receive first preference for spots.
This term, we have trained more staff and redesigned the structure of our swim school to allow us to add more classes to our timetable. We are working to absorb the maximum number of swimmers our pools can take while still adhering to safety standards.
Hundreds of children who registered an Expression of Interest for Term 4 have already been booked in. Our team will continue working through the Expressions of Interest until 20th October, at which point all remaining families on the register will be notified via email whether they have been successful or not in getting a place.
We do appreciate all parents who registered their Expression of Interest, and understand that it represents a vote of confidence in the quality of our Learn to Swim program. We also take seriously our role in teaching water safety so that kids are safe around water. We thank you for your patience while we work on providing this much-needed service to as many children as we can.
